“The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides.”
— Audrey Hepburn
What amazing eyes… Cassidy’s, her brother’s and her beautiful mother’s too! They all have these beautiful blue eyes that seem like they GAZE straight into your soul with just one warm glance. It was an absolute delight to work with such a wonderful family and hope to have the chance to work with them again.
Cassidy is right on track to graduate high school in 2013 and has an amazing future ahead of her. I have so many great things to say about this amazing and talented young woman after working with her, photographing her senior portraits!!!! Not only she is one beautiful girly girl that likes changing in her different FASHIONABLE outfits (and btw yes, her green dress has pockets! ), ARTISTICALLY matching different accessories and shoes; she is a wonderfully driven girl who doesn’t stop in front of anything to get what she wants, (even if that means laying in slightly damp grass to get just the right shot )! But then again, water doesn’t bother Cassidy as she has always loved swimming. She teaches and works as a lifeguard at one of the local recreation centers in Roanoke!
For some, being photographed is something that they dread, but you can ask Cassidy – I make sure it is an enjoyable experience (and don’t worry, I don’t ask everyone to lay in the wet grass!) When I am taking senior photos I like to make sure my client has fun and that the images capture as much of their personality as I can. In fact, I’m excited about her scheduling a second shoot for more pictures including in water shots! Doing some water photography will be a fun process for sure!
I truly enjoyed shooting her senior portraits in Roanoke. For Cassidy’s senior portrait session we all ventured over to Hollins University to take advantage of the beautiful campus grounds and architecture, photographing in a few different locations. The lighting was perfect, the weather was cooperative, and Cassidy was such a pleasure to work with. We did a variety of shots and poses, so she will have a variety of images to choose from. We were able to capture a lot of great senior portraits, making it difficult for me to narrow it down to just a few to share.
It is now official that Autumn is slowing taking Summer’s place and everything is turning into those beautiful and warm orange and red colors, making Virginia such a magical place, the perfect time to have your senior portraits taken.I’m happy to share Cassidy’s amazing shots, which were taken right when the colors are still in between, a fitting metaphor as Cassidy looks on to a bright new future after high school. Thank you Cassidy!!! You totally rocked the shoot and I’m looking forward to part 2 with the pool pictures!
