How do you describe your style
My style is photojournalistic. My main goal is to capture the true emotions and actions evolving on your wedding day without being too intrusive. Telling your story through my images is what I strive to do.
Most of my weekends are booked with weddings, so 80% of my portrait sessions, including engagements are scheduled on weekdays. We start shooting an hour and a half before sunset. In case weekdays aren't an option for you, just let me know and we can try to figure something out together!
How will I receive the digital files?
You will receive a link to an online gallery, password protected. You are free to share the link with anyone you like. You have unlimited downloads! If you would like to purchase prints from my website, you can, if not you can just download the high resolution size and get it printed elsewhere.
If there is a location that is special for you, we can shoot there. It would make the experience more personal. If not, we can always discuss different options.
Feeling comfortable is important. You should always wear something that makes you feel yourself.
With that being said it is a special occasion so why not go a little extra with one of your outfits?!
Colors : try to stay away from colors that are too bright. Neutrals work, but mostly go with colors that go well with your skin tone, eye color, etc...
Patterns: Stay away from big patterns or anything that is too busy. Smaller patterns typically work better.
For guys: stay away from shirts with writings.
For the ladies: I highly recommend getting your makeup & hair trial done on this day! They key for a successful session, besides capturing your emotions is feeling confident!
What to wear
Nobody is! All I ask of you is to relax and be yourselves! Enjoy the time together. I will direct you and give you tips throughout the session, and if I'm not that means you're doing exactly what I need you to! Sometimes the in between moments speak louder than the big moments. It is all about capturing the connection in between the two of you. So relax and I promise it will be a great time!
I'm not used to being in front of a camera
Once you sign the contract, I require a 30% retainer. That will secure your date. The remaining is due three weeks before your wedding date.
All of the images are individually edited with my artistic point of view. I spend more time in editing them than actually shooting. That is why I do not deliver raw images or unedited images, the editing is part of my signature.
