From Two Worlds, One Lens: My Life in Frames
My journey began in New York, but it was in Italy where I truly grew and thrived, spending half of my life in this beautiful country. Today, I reside in Roanoke, Virginia, alongside my Italian husband and our energetic 13-year-old son.
Living between two countries has instilled in me a sense of belonging to both worlds. It's a unique blend of cultures that inspires my work. Whenever the opportunity arises, we eagerly travel to our cherished Tuscany, a place that holds a special place in our hearts.
My journey has been a tapestry woven with threads of photography, drawing, painting, and music, all of which have been my creative companions since early childhood.
Having photographed weddings for over a decade, I've come to understand that the relationship between a wedding photographer and her clients mirrors all other meaningful connections—built on trust and open communication.
Establishing a genuine connection with you is paramount. It's the key to making you feel at ease, to breaking down the barriers, and to allowing me to witness and document your authentic selves.
MY STORY
In 2010, a pivotal moment in my life occurred with the birth of my son. It was during this transformative time that the passion for capturing life's fleeting moments ignited within me. Armed with my first DSLR camera and a year of self-teaching, photography rapidly evolved from a newfound interest into one of my most profound passions.
My photography journey embarked on various avenues, from capturing appetizing dishes (a testament to my love for food) to experimenting with different forms of photography. However, it wasn't until 2015 that my heart gravitated towards the enchanting world of couples' photography and the magic of weddings."
